Easter Cactus

These cacti are a beautiful vibrant red and should bloom at Easter but they have a mind of their own. I have three all from the same original plant and they are looking particularly lovely at the moment, brightening up my front porch. Compare this to the Christmas Cactus and you will see the shape of the flowers are quite different, although the leaves are similar.

Cool, do they bloom every year?

You can actually make them bloom you keep them dry and then begin to water and feed. But it does bloom every year. I think it is particularly nice because I have just repotted and so have watered and fed it quite a bit.
